SLPL – Police beat Bo Rangers to keep Lions in the title race; Bai Bureh Warriors return to a winning start against RSLAF

Sierra Leone Police FC defeats league leaders Bo Rangers by 1-0 at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown. A brilliant goal from Alpha Kanu in the 12th minute sealed a vital victory for a rejuvenated Police. Police remain at the bottom of the table (18th) with 14 points even today’s victory.

Bo Rangers are still leading the Sierra Leone Premier League table with 35 points, with East End Lions trailing in 2nd position with 34 points.

Lions were held to a 1-1 draw by Central Parade at the Siaka Stevens Stadium yesterday. Bo Rangers defeats to Police keeps the title race alive again.

In another result on Saturday, Bai Bureh Warriors returns to a winning start against RSLAF FC at the Portloko Mini Stadium in Portloko Town. Ten men BB Warriors scored a first half goal through Mohamed S. Kanu to take home all 3 points. Warriors have now moved up to 15th position with 16 points.
