The project is headed by one of Sierra Leone outstanding female artists, philanthropists, models and entrepreneurs, Neneh Ada Koroma commonly known as Queennak.

The ‘WIN A MILLION DOLLAR HOME’ raffle requires limited number of people for a specific episode to buy at least 1 ticket, costing $1 or Le 10,000 per ticket. The first phase comprises of 10 episodes, beginning at $500 in the first episode, where 500 tickets were sold and 2 winners where announced and the money shared among them. In the ongoing second episode, $1,000 is at stake to be won. 1,000 tickets will be sold out. An individual can buy as many tickets as he/she can in order to increase his or her chances of winning. At the end of each episode, a draw will be done live on Facebook through zoom. The draw will be done transparently by top Sierra Leonean celebrities like Abizzy, Shady Baby, Menace De General, YOK 7, Winstina Taylor and more. This method will be used in all the 10 episodes until a house is won in the final episode. In every episode, the targeted amount of tickets would have been sold out before a draw is made.

Queennak

According to Queennak, the project is “to distract Sierra Leoneans from the ongoing negativity and political tensions in Sierra Leone.” It is also meant to enable lucky Sierra Leoneans to own quality houses in the United States.”

Queennak is well known for her philanthropic work and goodwill towards her home country over the years, where she has supported vulnerable people and the government of Sierra Leone in times of crisis. The ‘Win A Million Dollar Home’ raffle is a nonprofit project, as the amount of tickets sold will be the exact amount to be shared to the winners. Meaning, the organisers gets nothing left from the raffle.
