The most anticipated DJ Kallox Volume II Compilation album is underway

After a successful Volume I of the DJ Kallox Compilation (LOVE IS THE ANSWER) in 2016, Sierra Leone’s most outstanding Disc Jockey (DJ) Ibrahim Kalokoh popularly known as DJ Kallox is coming up with the 2nd edition of his album compilation. This most anticipated album will feature more big and upcoming names.

The Volume One Compilation (Love Is The Answer) was a successful and highly rated album in 2016/2017 with major hit songs like ‘Hakuna Matata’ – DJ Kallox ft. Kao Denero & I-Tribe, ‘Leader’ – DJ Kallox ft. Star Zee, ‘Bom Bam’ – DJ Kallox ft. Empress P, ‘Number One’ – DJ Kallox ft. Rahim De Wezard, ‘Kallox’ – DJ Kallox ft. Morris, ‘Love Is The Answer’ – DJ Kallox ft. Innocent & M2, and more hit songs from artists like Markmuday & Rozzy, Ragga Spice & Pizzy, etc. A lot of big names in the music industry contributed to that amazing album. It was a show of love by those artists to Sierra Leone’s leading DJ, Kallox.

DJ Kallox is a multi award winning DJ, celebrated for his long standing craft and passion in promoting Salone music for over 20 years. He started off from the then SLBS Radio before he moved to Citizens Radio. Kallox is currently the Entertainment Director of Citizens Radio, Station Manager of Eagle FM, Chairman of Anti Drugs Football Club and he is the Founder and General Overseer of the Sierra Leone DJs Union (SLeDU).

In February 2018, DJ Kallox was signed to Ascent Music Group (AMG), as the label’s official DJ, making him the first known DJ in Sierra Leone to be signed to a music label.

This professional DJ has done so much to match the footsteps of global DJs, such as DJ Big N of Mavins, DJ Jimmy Jatt & DJ Khalid, etc. Despite coming from a small industry with small market, Kallox has continued to soar up to becoming a respected public figure, a professional DJ and a strong entertainment stakeholder. He has also successfully managed couple of top artistes.

This writer understands that many top musicians are now in talks with DJ Kallox for a massive album compilation. The Volume II album compilation was already in progress. In September, Kallox released a single titled ‘December Love’ featuring King Melody, as part of the Volume II album.

This upcoming album will be supported and headlined by AMG Music and other labels like Hejenah Entertainment, MMI Entertainment and Salone Borbor Music (SBM). DJ Kallox is also looking forward to more sponsors.
